Technical solutions, refrubishment and innovative management solutions will increase sustainability in German and European data centers in the future. Their own share will be newly standards /
guidelines and the further development of Rz-specific KPIs.
Ultimately, the question remains "Why do we currently create little sustainability in the data center?
The further analysis then led to the realization that data centers are planned, operated and renewed by interdisciplinary specialist groups with different requirements and goals. In the
cooperation of these specialists, i.e. in project work, there is often a lack of understanding for the respective "other" trade. In addition, there are oversized safety buffers in the subprojects
for contingencies in the future. This results in free-standing or oversized infrastructures with partially utilized technology. Through a targeted data center management training, acquisition
costs and running costs are reduced!
